Like most human feelings, temptation can have a bad rap.
There is a kernel, a nugget of temptation in every desire 
at the very beginning.
The lure of something unknown, the desire for something other than
what is in front of you, ohhhhh tempting……

Then the judgement comes in.
It started with the temptation of Adam and Eve.
That is where it got its bad reputation. 
They were tempted by the apple, something new and unknown,
and gave up everything good in their lives,
that’s quite a message!

You use the word temptation for wanting that second cupcake,
for desiring your friends husband,
for the thoughts of quitting your job and moving to Italy.
But if you removed the judgement,
temptation is still giving you information, feedback,
on your wants,
on your deepest desires,
taking your temperature on where you stand.
And THAT is what life is all about!

Seeing something that you want, and realizing what 
needs to change in order to move in that direction.
Now your intellect and wisdom and character 
will also give you feedback on how to proceed.
There really is not a black and white,
clear cut , right or wrong way to go.

A second cupcake won’t hurt anyone.
It is probably not a good idea to go after your friends husband,
but with that feedback, that temptation,
you realize you are not satisfied with your own
romantic situation.
As far as quitting and moving to Italy…

Some of the most amazing, messy, life altering,
crazy great, transformational experiences
have started with the phrase:
” You know…I’ m really tempted to just…

The energy is ripe right now to accommodate 
many scientific advances.
Did you know that the energy had to be a match?
otherwise experiments, and theories never got beyond the drawing board.
You can have a brilliant mind working tirelessly on 
a new scientific advancement, but somehow it just 
never seems to get any further than the lab or the 
desk. Tesla is an example of this.

The energy has to come up to match each theory,
or…the energy advances to a point where souls 
come onto the planet with the combination for many
unsolved and unanswered problems.
Each generation enters the world with a database
of the accumulated knowledge as their platform from which to 
jump.

You can see that with the children now.
They take to all the devices like fish to water.
It’s like they already know how to operate this
technology from birth, and that is a correct assumption.
That is how, as children, they are setting up for the next wave
of things to come.

You cannot even imagine what is on the scientific horizon!
Just as you could have never imagined what is commonplace 
in your daily lives even 15 short years ago!

So don’t worry so much about the future.
Science fiction will become science fact…and then some.

The next three generations will come in with a respect and reverence
for the planet that has been absent for centuries,
and THAT is the combination that will unlock
the next wave of huge advances.

So hold onto your hats!
Talk about making dreams a reality!
These present days will look like the dark ages
because the future is setting up to be so bright!

Compromise is essential in any relationship.
No One party can have it their way 100% of the time.

Because there can be an energy of settling for less than what you want,
Resentment can ride along with compromise.

To avert that, it is very important that empathy be a main ingredient in compromise.

If you can step out of the way of your own needs and wants
for awhile, and see, hear and feel, what the other party 
is asking for, compromise will not have that edge of anger
and resentment.

If you view their requests as something that is 
being done TO you,
Taking something away from you,
or feels unequal, or unfair,
you may end up compromising,
but it will be an uneasy alliance.

Step inside the “shoes” of another before you attempt
compromise in the any situation.
If you can better understand their point of view,
there will be an ease of just wanting it your way.

The alliance will happen naturally,
and again, you will realize that everyone 
is doing the best they can in their own circumstances,
and sometimes in order to reach peace
you must zig and let the other zag.

Sometimes we will be posting something written,
a poem, prose or some general wisdom 🙂

Sometimes we feel a picture is enough.
Words take the long way around thru your brain.
A picture has the ability to go straight to your heart.
Much like music.
Don’t make us start singing!

Although there is a lot going on beneath the surface,
it feels pretty quiet out there.
Things feel suspended in space.
Not many things are breaking thru…yet.

You could call this the quiet before the storm,
but that would probably make you nervous,
because you barely hear “quiet”,
all you hear is “storm”.
Don’t worry!

True, after observing the weather patterns lately, 
We could understand your concern.
We are not talking about a meteorological event,
but rather an energetic one.

There is going to be a large energy influx next month
and now is the time to set your intentions,
your hopes and dreams for what you would like to see transpire.

What has been log jammed so to speak in your lives lately?
Is there an agreement or contract that needs signing?
A move? Either geographically or laterally that needs deciding?
Are there people in your lives waiting to make their transition?
Destiny’s waiting to be fulfilled?

This is the quiet time, the time to be still,
the best time to reinforce what you desire.

You know how storms come thru and stir things up?
even make some magic with their thunder and lightening?
And you know the freshness that is left when they depart?
How clean and clear everything feels?
Even the colors seem more vibrant after everything gets bathed 
in the rain and dried by the wind.

After this next energy influx, 
your lives will feel very much the same.
Much cleaner and clearer.

So there is nothing to fear,
sometimes things just need to be pushed along,
and moved forward.
So now you can view the “quiet before the storm” differently.
Now it will represent to you a time of deliberate set up
before the “storm” of renewal 🙂

People watching is a wonderful pastime.
Isn’t it amazing the variety that exists in the human race?
Tall, short,
male, female,
Heavy, slim,
blonde hair, red hair, dark hair…no hair!

There are some people that look at others and see animals.
“he looks like a weasel”
“She has the hands of a sloth”
These are not compliments.
They are imaginative, 
but they are generally hurtful.

What kind of filter do you see others thru?

Do you, in your head, think
“She’s too skinny,”
” He needs a shave”
“They look ridiculous”
“He’d be cute if he lost 25lbs”
“She looks old”

Do you want to know something that will change you?
EVERYONE is doing the best they can!
and EVERYONE has their story.

“She” is skinny because her boyfriend is always mentioning her weight,
she would love to eat normally, but he’d leave her.

“He” forgot to shave because he had to rush out of the house to 
pick up a sick child at school

“They” look ridiculous to you because they are marching to their own drum, 
not yours!

“He” has struggled with his weight all his life, but his wife adores him
as he is, he is cute to her already!

“She” has lead the life of helping others, she has never taken an interest
in her own reflection, she is held in high regard and loved by many
and THAT is what matters to her.

Become aware of how you look at others.
You would hope others look at you with kinder eyes.
Remember these words and make adjustments to your thoughts,
when you gaze at the beautiful personified story of another,
and all you see are the flaws.
